About Lydia
Lydia Akinyemi began her career in financial services, spending more than 15 years supporting financial advisors and their clients and gaining firsthand insight into the financial decisions individuals and families face.
After experiencing the realities of building and managing a small business herself, Lydia recognized that business owners often need more than a tax or accounting professional—they need someone who understands how the numbers and the business work together. That experience ultimately led to LydFam Management Company, where she brings her financial, accounting, tax, and business management experience together to help clients make informed decisions and plan for what’s next. For more than a decade, Lydia and her team has worked closely with entrepreneurs and business owners—preparing individual and business tax returns, providing tax strategies, managing the books for contractor and service-based businesses, and helping entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of starting and growing a business.
Outside of LydFam, Lydia enjoys spending time with her husband and children, binge-watching a good show, singing, and teaching Sunday School at her church.
